Kitchen Dish Towels
Where do you store dirty rags before you wash them?

I clean the bathroom, kitchen, etc. and have dirty rags and dish rags. Currently I put them on top of the washing machine in a pile, but it is gross if I can’t wash them immediately. Do you wash them together with bleach? Do you store them in a hamper with clothes? What do you do if you can’t wash them right away? Especially wet kitchen towels? Do you store them together? What if you only have one or two dirty rags, not enough to do a wash?

I have a mesh laundry bag that hangs in my laundry room specifically for cleaning rags and kitchen towels. Because of the mesh, the towels can breathe and dry out and no mold or mildew will form. Once I have enough for a load, I run them with bleach. And yes, I have a large enough supply of microfiber rags and kitchen towels that I can run a full load.
