The rules of basketball
Basketball was invented in a search for an inside game, giving full gym. Dr. James Naismith, an instructor Canadian physicist, wrote the basic rule for the game after initial rejection of many ideas, a YMCA Training School. This game was officially played for the first time on 20 January 1892 in the gymnasium of the YMCA, at Springfield College. Women began to play basketball in 1892, at Smith College, and different sets standards were established for them.
This is a team sport where two teams, consisting of nine members each, throw balls into a basket of three meters high for the opponent to get a score. While one team member aims for the basket, another team member prevented from doing so. The team that has the highest score wins the game. The ball slipped out and carried forward. Unregulated versions have been developed for recreational purposes and in some countries, this game is considered a spectator sport.
